-In general I prefer to use a 50:50 ratio of butter:vegetable oil in cake and biscuit recipes because of the health benefits of vegetable oils. But with bakes apple, the amount of butter used is small compared to the amount of apple. So, go for it and use some butter!
-According to the Australian Dietary Guidelines we need 2 serves of fruit per day, and the more variety the better. Dried and fresh fruit both count as fruit intake. So, here you have both apple and grape (sultanas).
