It's just about the end of summer. Purslane is an edible "weed" and I keep seeing it everywhere. It is a very mild-tasting succulent. Look out for reddish colour stems and flat spoon-shaped leaves. Maybe stay clear of a plant next to a dog bowl outside a cafe! It has the highest level of omega 3 fatty acids compared to any other leafy green vegetable. Add it to your salad.
